1. General Information
Ferðir is a travel agency specializing in package trips to football matches and related events. These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made through our website or directly with our agency.
By booking a trip with Ferðir, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, which are governed by EU Regulation (EU) 2015/2302 on package travel and linked travel arrangements.
2. Booking and Payment
- A booking is confirmed once you receive written confirmation from Ferðir.
- A deposit (typically 30% of the total price) is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.
- Full payment must be completed no later than 30 days before departure.
- Late payments may result in cancellation of the booking without refund.
3. What’s Included
Each package trip includes:
- Match tickets (as specified)
- Accommodation (as described in the offer)
- Transport (if included in the package)
- Any additional services explicitly listed in your booking confirmation
4. Changes and Cancellations
- You may cancel your trip at any time before departure. Cancellation fees apply:
- More than 30 days before departure: 20% of total price
- 15–30 days: 50%
- Less than 15 days: 100%
- Name changes or minor modifications may be possible for a fee.
- If Ferðir must cancel the trip (e.g., due to insufficient participants or force majeure), you will receive a full refund or an alternative offer.
5. Match/Event Changes
Ferðir is not responsible for changes in match schedules, locations, or cancellations made by the event organizer. We will do our best to assist with alternative arrangements, but refunds for match ticket changes are not guaranteed unless reimbursed by the organizer.
6. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is strongly recommended. It is your responsibility to ensure you have adequate coverage for medical expenses, cancellations, lost luggage, and other travel-related risks.
7. Passports, Visas, and Entry Requirements
You are responsible for ensuring that you meet all entry requirements for the destination country, including valid passports, visas, and COVID-19 or other health-related documentation.
8. Liability
Ferðir is liable for the proper performance of the travel services included in your package, as required by EU law. However, we are not liable for:
- Failures due to you or third parties unrelated to the trip
- Unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics)
9. Complaints and Dispute Resolution
If you experience a problem during your trip, please inform us immediately so we can help resolve it.
Formal complaints must be submitted in writing within 14 days of your return.

10. Privacy and Data Protection
Your personal data will be handled in accordance with GDPR (EU Regulation 2016/679). We only collect data necessary for booking and customer service. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
